Caiden and Jolene, ripped apart at a very young age because of a tragic accident and kept apart for twenty years. Their love for each other never dies but it does have to fight to be seen again.
I loved this book. It is refreshing to read about an older couple who does not play games. Yes, they have a lot to work out but the trivial does not take center stage. Adult minds persevere. Does it make the journey easier? No, but it makes dealing with it less sophomoric and I for one appreciate that. I love the slow, slow burn Debra does so very well. She has perfected this and it gets me every time. The payoff at the end always makes my stomach flutter......always.
I found this book to be a satisfying, slow, steady, romantic read that was not jumbled up with unnecessary angst. It played out beautifully and I
was able to see some of my favorite characters from her other books. It was fun to see where they are now and sad in some cases.
If you are looking for substance in your reading and not just fluff, I recommend Debra Kayn. She has never disappointed me.

Awesome book. Definitely worth the read. Keeps you involved throughout the entire book. I would DEFINITELY recommend this book to those looking to stay captivated. Hoping to find more like this for my reading list. And will definitely add this author to my favorites.
I loved this book so much !! If anyone needed a second chance at love it was Caiden and Jolene. Throughout their lives they have had to hide their love , then had to be separated to thinking they had lost each other. They never actually stopped loving each other in their hearts . They just had to overcome their doubts and fears. A beautiful story. I also loved the MC's making their appearance as well.
Her books get better and better. I get so emotional reading them. I I was scared for the characters, cried for them, I laugh for them, I was excited for them.
I swear I don't think Debra Kayn could write a bad book.

First I did not want this book to end.Caiden and Jolene story will break your heart.It takes 20 years for these two to get back together.You see there emotion and your right there with them.There were so many sweet moment and of course hot sexy love.These two got there happy ever after.Loved the ending. Ms Kayn never disappoints her reader . Loved this book!!
This book gives hope to the reader. A young couple torn apart when a tragic accident results in a death and Caiden is sent to prison. A fragile Jolene is unable to fight her wealthy and influential parents. Yet, she always loves him and struggles with her feelings. After twenty years, they find each other again. She is still psychologically torn and anxious. Caiden is angry because he feels she didn’t wait for him and trust in their love. As a reader, it was important that they both earned success individually. They were able to function well individually but they flourished together. Beautiful story
Caiden and Jolene are in love. Poor boy from the bad neighborhood and rich girl from the mansion. Young lovers, full of fire and fierce. Caiden is an Underground Fighter trying to make money for their future. 17 year old Jolene thinks the sun rises and sets with Caiden's smile. When tragedy happens they lose each other for 20 years.
